IT Support Engineer
Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer on a permanent basis for a well know business based in the Hammersmith area. This role onsite 5 days per week.
Location: Hammersmith (onsite 5 days per week)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Skills/Requirements for the IT Support Engineer:
- Previous experience within a similar technical role
- Strong Active Directory experience
- Candidates must have strong customer service skills as there is a lot of face to face support
- Windows 7/10
- Hardware support around PC’s, Laptops, tablets and phones
- Windows Server support
- Mobile Device Management (MDM), any product would be good with a higher preference for Intune or Jamf
- Apple OS is highly desirable
- Basic networking skills around DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
- Any MS Azure experience is highly desirable
Start date is ASAP for the IT Support Engineer
The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for:
- Being the 1st point of contact for all service requests
- Triaging and prioritising all support calls/face to face requests and escalating if needed
- Providing support to the highest level you can, the business expects first call fix with only a small amount of tickets being escalated.
- Diagnosing and resolving basic issues with Desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other hardware
- Assisting the business where needed on large scale Infrastructure projects
- Building and setting up laptops and desktops
- Identifying and troubleshooting network issues
- Providing software support and training to staff around OS, Google and Adobe software
